COBRA OFF TO SABAH FOR THE 5TH BORNEO COBRA INTERNATIONAL RUGBY 10s TOURNAMENT IN SANDAKAN

After a good outing at the Taiping 10s last weekend, the COBRA team is off to Sabah to participate in the Sandakan 10s. The tournament will be held on the 18-19 June and jointly organized by the Nature City of Sabah, IJM Plantations Berhad and Sandakan Rugby Club (SRC).

According to the organizers, 16 teams will be participating in the tournament comprising of several international teams from Taiwan, Brunei and a Fijian Selection side. Apart form COBRA, top local teams participating include defending Cup champs SRC Borneo Eagles, SRU Academy selection and other renowned local teams, such as NS Wanderers, RMAF Blackhawks and Staroba Orange.

The COBRA team left for Sandakan on Thursday. The Club’s best players will be fielded for this international affair.
