Action at the 2004 COBRA 10s Schools Finals between SSBJ and SMS Johor

PETALING JAYA: Terengganu’s SM Sains Sultan Mahmud beat SMK Zaaba of Negri Sembilan 17-5 to emerge as the champions of the Cobra 10’s schools' qualifying tournament at the Astaka Field here yesterday.

The finalists, together with losing semi-finalists SM Shah Alam and Kolej Yayasan Saad of Malacca, qualified for the second annual Under-16 Cobra schools' tournament.

The tournament, featuring eight teams, will be held concurrently with the HSBC-Cobra Invitational Rugby 10’s from Sept 9-11.

Besides the four schools from the qualifiers yesterday, the other teams will be St Andrews of Singapore, Broadwater Boarding School of England, a team from east Malaysia and a Cobra Selection made up of Under-16 schoolboys.
